John Smithhisler, KentuckyOne Health's central/eastern Kentucky market leader and president of Saint Joseph Hospital, and Eric Gilliam, president of Saint Joseph East,
co-hosted the annual President’s Circle luncheon Feb. 21.

The event honored employees who made a gift of more than $500 to the Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation during the “Perfect Gift Campaign,” the employee fundraising campaign at Saint Joseph Hospital, Saint Joseph East and Saint Joseph Jessamine. More than 50 employees attended the luncheon and enjoyed a gourmet meal served by hospital leaders.

“This is a remarkable group of employees that continues to grow,” said Barry Stumbo, president and CEO of the Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation. “Each year we are honored and impressed by the truly generous and compassionate support of Saint Joseph employees. Our employees have raised over $1 million dollars in the past five years during the employee campaign and it certainly has created an impact on hundreds of our patients and their families.”

The Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation’s primary purpose is to raise and administer funds to support the mission of Saint Joseph Hospital, Saint Joseph East and Saint Joseph Jessamine RJ Corman Ambulatory Care Center. Recent projects funded by the Foundation include equipment additions in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at The Women’s Hospital at Saint Joseph East.
